BATTLE ATTACK IN THE MORNING HOURS ON A BUS FULL OF POLICE OFFICERS

A major explosion took place in the Turkish province of Adana this morning. The bus that was the target of the attack was transporting police officers. Most likely below the overpass, a bomb blast managed to hit other cars in the vicinity of the bus.
The ambulance immediately transported a large number of injured to nearby hospitals.
Adana Governor Mahmut Dermitas said fortunately there were no persons with serious injuries.
The CTO strongly condemns this as any terrorist attack. We believe that the key to preventing such situations is the operational work of the security services, who need to investigate the terrorist cell network even further so that information can be found that can help detect and prevent future terrorist attacks.
Countries such as Turkey have such a geographical and strategic position that the influx of terrorist cells from the Middle East into Turkey is imminent.
It is therefore necessary to step up the cooperation of the world's security services in order to increase the chances of preventing such events.

Dragan Pantic, CTO President.
