BIA ARRESTED SERBIAN WHO WORKED FOR CROATIAN INTELLIGENCE SERVICE

On November 28, the Security Information Agency (BIA) filed a criminal complaint with the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Sremska Mitrovica against Nikola Kajkic and Drazen Letic, on suspicion of having committed the espionage offense under Article 315 of the Serbian Criminal Code.
The statement said that Drazen Letic, a former MUP member, was arrested on suspicion of selling information to members of the Croatian security services for material compensation, as well as undertaking other activities aimed at destabilizing the security of the Republic of Serbia.
"Letic is part of a collaborative network made up of multiple Serbian citizens, created and used in recent years by Nikola Kajkic, born in 1973, a Croatian citizen, an inspector in the Terrorism and Extreme Violence Division of the Vukovar-Sremska Police Directorate, President of the National Union The Croatian Police, for gathering intelligence, for recruiting persons from these areas for co-operation with the Croatian judiciary, as well as for obtaining documentation that would be misused for foreign policy purposes in order to discredit the Republic of Serbia, "the BIA said in its statement.
The BIA also says that Letić was arrested on July 13 this year in an international police operation as a member of an international organized crime group, led by U.S. citizen Michael Dokovic, real name Iljmi Frlukic, in an attempt to smuggle 600 kilograms of cocaine worth about 18 million euros from Uruguay to Switzerland .
The CTO would like to congratulate BIA members on another successful series of actions. At the moment, foreign factors are exerting great effort and pressure to compromise and destabilize the Republic of Serbia. The BIA and the MUP of the Republic of Serbia stand on the fender of the homeland, representing the first line of defense of our country and its integrity and sovereignty. They do this hard work responsibly, and they show through great results that deserve all the praise.
Dragan Pantic, CTO President and Lazar Arsovic, CTO Advisory Board Member.
