
BIA MARKED 17 YEARS FROM FOUNDING
The Security and Information Agency today marked the 120th anniversary of the establishment of the Department of Confidential Police Affairs and the 17th anniversary of the establishment of the BIA.
The ceremony was attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, government ministers, church representatives, representatives of the City of Belgrade as well as many representatives of foreign delegations.
Before the ceremony, the President and BIA Director Bratislava Gasic laid a wreath on the memorial wall with the names of the fallen service members.
The ceremonial part began with the intonation of the anthem, after which the President addressed the guests and congratulated BIA members on their outstanding results in the past.
He also said that, above all, it is paramount that all agency officials keep in mind at all times that their most important goal is to safeguard the interests and integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
CTO wishes to congratulate the Agency on its successes so far, but also to thank in advance for its continued efforts in maintaining the overall security of the citizens of the Republic of Serbia, both on the soil of our country and around the world.
