CTO member Nemanja Najvirt defends title in Girevoy (PHOTO)
The IUKL Serbia Open IV International Girevoy Sports Competition and the Serbian Open Championships were held today in Spens, Novi Sad.
The organizer of this great competition is the sports association "Girevik" Novi Sad, led by the celebrated champion Aleksandar Miletic, who brought the sport to Serbia.
In front of this sports club we have accompanied our undefeated champion in this sport, Nemanja Najvir, who came to this competition to defend the title.
He competed in the discipline Long cycle + 90kg with 2 of 20kg each.
Wirt has succeeded in this and won two gold medals for our country (IUKL International Competition and Serbia Open). This made Wirt the absolute undefeated champion of Serbia.
In addition to Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Russia, Italy were in this competition…
After the competition itself, we did a brief interview with Nemanja
Congratulations. What are your impressions?
"Thanks. I managed to defend the title, and that's the most important. It was not easy, and I went to this competition without being 100% ready. I threw out 80 times the weight, which was enough for that brightest medal. "
What are your future plans?
- The World Championship in this sport is held in November. And this is happening just in Serbia and in my hometown of Novi Sad.
“A large number of competitors from all over the world are expected, and it would be my great desire to go out there and win one of the medals in front of a local audience. But reality is a little different than desire. All these successes I achieve, I achieve with only 3 workouts per week. I have less and less time, and I'm not dedicated enough to how much I should be. I'm afraid I won't be able to prepare for this World Cup in 2 months, but we'll see ... ”

Apart from being a successful athlete, Wirt is also the president and founder of Audi Club Serbia, which has over 6000 members from Serbia and the region and is the largest car lover club in the Balkans. He is also the President of the DBA Center (Security Center) for the territory of Vojvodina.
