POLICE HAS SEIZED 2.3 KG OF MARIJUANA

Police today arrested two people in an organized action on suspicion of the criminal offense of Illicit Manufacturing and Marketing of Narcotic Drugs.
After a successful search of two houses in the area of Bački Petrovac, 2.35 kg of dried marijuana and six stems of Indian hemp were seized, as well as a large amount of money believed to have been obtained through the sale of narcotics.
M.M. (20) Detention detention of 48 hours has been ordered in Bački Petrovac by the Public Prosecutor, after which he will be brought to the hearing.
The CTO would like to thank and congratulate the Ministry of the Interior on yet another successful action in the war on drug trafficking. We believe this action is of great importance because it sends a clear message that no drug dealer is safe and cannot escape the police and the judiciary, regardless of the quantity and type of narcotics available and trafficked.
