THANKS TO THE POLICE OFFICER NEMAN PAVLOVIC ON THE BRAVE

Today, the job of a police officer is one of the most difficult and responsible jobs that requires great courage, dedication and care for the safety of fellow citizens. A great example of honorable police duty is Officer Nemanja Pavlovic (29), a member of the Police Brigade for the City of Belgrade.
09/22/2019 In the early hours of the morning at King Aleksandar Obrenovic Street in Mladenovac, at Pink Panther fast food restaurant an armed robbery was attempted, which was heroically prevented by police officer Nemanja Pavlovic.
Nemanja was out of duty, in civilian clothes and unarmed, at the time of this unfortunate event. He walked into the facility to order food. Afterwards, he returned to his car and heard a woman in the facility calling for help. He rushed back to the facility where he found his face holding a gun pointed at the saleswoman trying to extort money from her. Nemanja realized that he had to act quickly so that the thief did not hurt or even kill any of those present. He legitimized his face and shouted "stop, police."
The robber turned to Nemanja, pointing his gun at him, and at that moment Nemanja managed to remove the gun from the robber with his skilful and quick gesture and without any aids, which he then disabled by doing a "wrench on the elbow".
The officer told the woman to call police and held the disabled robber for several minutes until his fellow police officers on duty appeared, who arrested the person upon arrival. Nemanja and his colleagues went to the station to make a statement about this unpleasant event.
CTO thanks Police Officer Nemanja Pavlovic for his extraordinary courage and for making the streets safer for citizens, thanks to him and his colleagues, who believe that their duty and responsibility to citizens and their safety does not end for the rest of their lives.
