In an organised operation today, police arrested two people on suspicion of unauthorised production and trafficking of narcotics.
After successful searches of two houses in Bački Petrovac, 2.35 kg of dried marijuana and six cannabis plants were seized, along with a large amount of cash believed to have been obtained from selling drugs.
M.M. (20) from Bački Petrovac was ordered into 48-hour custody by the public prosecutor, after which he will be brought in for questioning.
CTO thanks and congratulates the Ministry of the Interior on yet another successful operation in the war on drug trafficking. We believe this operation is very important because it sends a clear message that no drug dealer is safe or can escape the police and the judiciary, regardless of the amount and type of narcotics they hold and trade.
