Two men have been arrested on suspicion of planning an organised terrorist attack aimed at further stirring up the political situation in Spain and the question of Catalan independence.
Spanish investigators said there is video footage showing the two men testing a home-made explosive that was being prepared for the attack.
The Spanish prosecutor’s office said the two are part of a group of seven others arrested in the past week who are also suspected of attempting a terrorist attack in Catalonia, Reuters reports.
